With a strong portfolio in healthcare field for over 20 years, Dr. Khater has overseen Alameda's evolution throughout the years, which have included 4 hospitals that provide a bed capacity of 1,023 beds and 128 outpatient clinics through a network that is strategically located in Greater Cairo, which includes As-Salam International Hospital – ASSIH at Maadi & New Cairo, Dar Al Fouad at Nasr City & 6th of October city. With his appetite for innovation and excellence, Dr. Khater also has investment interests in the areas of primary care clinics & home healthcare (Tabibi 24X7), Rehabilitation and long-term care (German Rehabilitation Centre), and Biotechnology (Ellipses Pharma).

In addition to being a qualified physician, Dr. Khater has extensive experience in team building, public speaking, healthcare information technologies, investment, market research, company development, strategic design, risk management, and financial analysis. As an active philanthropist and patron, Dr. Khater supports multiple organizations and communities through the Khater Foundation, which he spearheads.

Dr. Khater is a qualified physician with an MBA in International Healthcare Management.
