Dr. Shalaby boasts over 43 years of experience in nursing excellence and has, during that time, held multiple regional roles, and driven transformational nursing concepts. She currently serves as Chief Nursing Officer and is leading the application of patient safety standards with regards to nursing operations.

Dr. Shalaby has an established track record in healthcare personnel education and job training, as well as strong leadership experience throughout her senior managerial roles in some of the country’s leading private hospitals. Her roles included Director of Nursing in key hospitals across Egypt and has gained extensive experience in quality concepts and quality management principles and tools. Dr. Shalaby excels in SRN and is a Professional Healthcare Management and Quality trainer with the ability to deal with and lead teams with multicultural backgrounds.

Dr. Shalaby holds a certificate in healthcare management and social development (master’s degree equivalent) from the Institute of Health Management in the UK, in collaboration with the American University in Cairo. She is a certified International Auditor for Quality Management Systems by the British Standards Institution (BSI). She also has a Saudi Commission for Health Specialties License, and is a certified JCI surveyor.
