Group Chief Information and Technology Officer

Mr. Khan is an accomplished digital health transformation leader with 30 years of experience in technology leadership in health IT strategy, architecture design, operations, and project management. He is currently serving as Group Chief Information and Technology Officer.

Mr. Khan has a proven track record of delivering cost-effective and customer centric solutions that focus on cost optimization, performance improvements, and alignment of business objectives with technology investments in the healthcare industry. He is currently leading the largest digital transformation initiative at Alameda hospitals to date, which includes the consolidation of electronic medical records across the Group.

Mr. Khan is an award winning, service oriented digital health leader, speaker, and synergist with particular experience in technology leadership, strategic planning, operations, and project management with a focus on the automation of healthcare. He is a recipient of the Healthcare Asia Award in Singapore in the ICT Initiative of the year category for building an intelligent, hyperconverged data center and significantly improving network performance and reducing the cost of operations by 60%.

Mr. Khan holds a bachelor’s in statistics, mathematics, and physics from Karachi University. He also holds a master’s in physics and electronics from Quaid-i-Azam University. He did his post-graduate fellowship in network management at the University of Groningen. Mr. Khan also earned certifications in leadership strategies for information technology in healthcare from Harvard University, and leadership strategies for evolving healthcare executives from Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health.
