Eng. Arafa’s proven track record and experience serves as significant added value for Alameda’s projects and engineering sectors. Eng. Arafa currently serves as the Group Director of Assets, Projects, and Engineering.

Prior to his position at Alameda, he served as Vice President of Construction and Regional Program Manager in the Middle East, Africa, and the Indian Ocean for Sofitel Luxury Hotels. His experience also extends to include his posts as Technical and Project Manager at Soma Bay Development Co. (A.S.D.C), Chief of Quality Control at Encorp AMCA American International Construction Corporation in Egypt, and as Project Manager at Saudi Cyprian Construction Co. LTD., in Saudi Arabia.

Eng. Arafa holds a master in construction and project management, as well as a CPM Diploma, from the American University in Cairo. He also holds a bachelor’s in civil engineering from Cairo University.
