Alameda Healthcare Group (Alameda) has signed an MoU with the Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC) to provide best-in-class medical care to Sudanese evacuees at the Egyptian-Sudanese border. The partnership will address the urgent medical needs and help improve their overall health and wellbeing through comprehensive healthcare services.
Under the terms of the agreement, Alameda will actively contribute to the humanitarian efforts of the ERC by availing medical resources. The Group’s dedicated team of healthcare professionals will provide complete services, including primary care, specialized treatments, diagnostic facilities, and emergency medical support.
ERC’s designated workstations, strategically located at the border, will serve as hubs for delivering medical services. They have been providing humanitarian support throughout the crisis, and have successfully provided medical services to 21,645 Sudanese evacuees, psychological support to 7,308, and international communication services to 5,295.
